Last week Marianne returned to the stage for her 50th Anniversary World Tour with a concert in Stuttgart, Germany followed by an intimate gig at Rockhal in Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg. After a short break, she’ll continue tonight in Leipzig, Germany.

Claude Piscitelli and Steffen Schmid were kind enough to let me share their photos of the first two gigs of the tour. Enjoy the impressions and if you haven’t yet take a look at the schedule to see if Marianne might be coming to your city!

Any set lists forthcoming from the long-anticipated 50th anniversary tour?

I went to the concert in Hannover on Saturday and it was a short but sweet setlist with great rarities. The bracketed songs were played at previous concerts but not the one I attended.

      Give My Love To London
      Falling Back
      Broken English
      Witches’ Song
      (Working Class Hero)
      The Price of Love
      Marathon Kiss
      Love More Or Less
      (As Tears Go By)
      Come and Stay With Me
      Mother Wolf
      Sister Morphine
      Late Victorian Holocaust
      Sparrows Will Sing
      The Ballad of Lucy Jordan
Who Will Take My Dreams Away
      Last Song (Encore)

Thanks for info, Ms Bee! I’m delighted that Witches’ Song has made it into the live repertoire, and strangely pleased that Heathcote Williams’s Why’d Ya Do It has (perhaps temporarily) been given a breather.

Glad to be of help! It was a big surprise to hear “Witches’ Song” and the live rendition was very lovely. I think there are a couple of songs that are switched out or left out on some nights. When I went to see her in Hannover she didn’t even play “As Tears Go By”.
